For Ole Henriksen, great skin begins with a positive outlook—an effervescent optimism and zest for life that allows you to glow from the inside out. His Scandinavian heritage and colorful nature led him to design a simple, joyful, yet powerful approach to skincare.

The OLEHENRIKSEN skincare collection is built on a product philosophy of exfoliate, treat and soothe, which originated in Ole’s Beverly Hills spa, to bring incredible, transformative results to clients all over the world. Each product in the line—from easy daily regimens to professional-strength systems—combines efficacious powerful actives, natural botanicals and essential fatty acids to address clients’ skin concerns. As a tribute to Ole’s spa heritage, intoxicating scents and luxurious textures create a total experience that delights the senses.

Heritage

Ole Henriksen was born in Nibe, a picturesque village in the Danish countryside, and his idyllic childhood was filled with laughter, music, dancing and summers on the water. His love affair with skincare began at an early age… On cold winter mornings, his mother would lovingly apply cream to his face to protect his tender skin from the elements.

At the age of 19, Ole ventured out into the world as a dancer and fell in love with Jakarta, Indonesia. However, while enjoying his tropical paradise, Ole developed cystic acne. His friend and talented esthetician, Lagita, was able to restore Ole’s skin to happy, healthy vitality through botanical treatments. Seeing his skin improve dramatically through proper care inspired him to help others: his life was forever transformed.

Hollywood's Skincare Expert

Ole devoted himself to skincare and cosmetic chemistry, studying at the Christine Shaw College of Beauty in London (he was a star student, he would want us to mention) before setting his sights stateside. After a brief stint in San Francisco, Ole opened his own spa in 1975 in West Hollywood, mixing concoctions in his kitchen and bringing them on the back of his bicycle to treat his celebrity clients.

Ole quickly developed a cult following and in 1983, he launched his namesake product line so clients could enjoy spa results at home. Today, Ole continues to create new products that treat, nurture and protect the skin. Along the way, he shares his uplifting and inspiring message of the transformative power of skincare.

Dr. Robert Franks

Nobility In Science Award

Dr. Robert Franks is president and CEO of Judge Baker Children’s Center and a faculty member at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Franks has been working in the field of children’s behavioral health for over 25 years. He specializes in the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices and programs in children’s behavioral health. He has worked in academic settings, non-profit institutions, medical centers and the community to improve the quality of behavioral health care for children and families. Dr. Franks has worked across multiple child serving sectors at the local and national level including pediatrics, behavioral health, education, juvenile justice and child welfare. Over the course of his career, he has led numerous statewide workforce development initiatives to implement a wide range of best and evidence based practices and programs. Dr. Franks believes that early identification and treatment of behavioral health problems is critical to lifelong health and well-being. As CEO of the Judge Baker Children’s Center, he works at the policy, systems, and practice levels to create sustainable change and improve access to quality behavioral health care leading to lifelong positive outcomes for children and families.
